I Beat Gleeman to Print
For those of you who haven't already e-mailed (which I greatly appreciate), yes, I did have an article published on Page 2 of the Star Tribune today. The opportunity came as a result of my internship under Glen Crevier, the sports editor.
As you may remember, I got to hangout with the off-beat phenom Michael Rand last week, leading to my guest post on his RandBall blog. We discussed the possibility of me doing a story for "The Rotation," which is basically Page 2.
We decided on a Weekend Preview article, highlighting the outdoor high school game between Lake of the Woods and St. Paul Johnson. Given my recent experience in hockey writing, I eagerly took on the task and am fairly happy with how it turned out. Hopefully I will make a few more appearances on the page throughout the year.

Congratulations Trevor! That's pretty awesome that you got in the Strib... How exciting! We'll definitely look forward to more of your stuff in the future. Is something about the Twins on tap, perhaps? :)
Not as of yet. We shall see, though.
Congrats! Pretty cool stuff for sure!
